Ex-PBA Star Bong Alvarez caught in Drug Session

Police on Saturday night arrested former PBA star Paul "Bong" Alvarez after being caught in a drug session in Quezon City.

A radio dzBB report said Alvarez was caught using drugs with two other individuals at a barber shop in Sikatuna village.

The report said Alvarez admitted that he was in a drug session when policemen arrived at the barber shop.

The report said that according to Quezon City Police District chief Senior Superintendent Guillermo Eleazar, policemen went to the barber shop to serve an arrest warrant on Alvarez for a case of slight physical injury.

Eleazar said several drug paraphernalia were recovered during the operation.
