GMA News Anchors Composed a Song for Sen. Trillanes' Epic Fail Interview with BBC Journalist Stephen Sackur

"I'm not a Democrat, I'm a Nacionalista."

Radio program, Dobol A sa Dobol B, is a political satire program.

Hosts Ali Sotto, Arnold Clavio and Mike Enriquez were talking about the controversial interview of British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) journalist and anchor Stephen Sackur to Philippine Senator Antonio Trillanes.

Mike Enriquez, who seemed to be not updated with the current 'talk of the town' asked his fellow hosts why the interview is so controversial. His co-hosts had to orient him of what happened.

"... O ano  bang nangyari dun? Mike asked.

Ali Sotto spoke up answered the question, she said, "Alam mo kasi unang-una ang programa pinamagatang 'HARDtalk'. Yung programa na yun, grabe talaga magtanong yung programa na yun, kahit sinong isalang nila, parang hotseat," she was cut off when Enriquez interjected.

Arnold Clavio explained how Sackur refuted every single statement and answer of Trillanes.

"Yung mga sagot ni Sen. Trillanes kay Stephen Sackur, parang wala syang tinanggap. Parang lagi syang binabalikan at kinokontra," Arnold explained.

Ali Sotto cited a few words from Sackur.

Parang out of tune ka ... doon sa sinasabi, iniisip ng ordinaryong Pilipino," she said.

The three continued to talk about and joking about the details of the interview. Trillanes had answers to Sackur's question when you hear them, you couldn't help but sigh.

At the end of the their conversation, Ali Sotto sang a song they entitled 'Antonio' in their BALITAWIT. The song was their own composition but it was sang in the tune of ABBA's song, '

Fernando'.

Here's the lyrics of the song, enjoy!

‘Antonio’

I was so afraid Antonio…
Bawat sagot mo sa tanong ay sumasablay
Kay sakit panoorin at aaminin ko it made me cry

REFRAIN:

There was something ba sa iyo doon
May lagnat ka ba, Antonio?
Lalo na nang tinanong ka niya kung
Democrat ka ba, Antonio?

Arnold Clavio: Nacionalista po

Nahulog ako sa upuan,
totoo ‘yan…
Gusto mo pa bang ulitin ‘yun
‘Wag na, my friend, Antonio.

Can you hear the bashers, Antonio?

REFRAIN:

There was something in the air that night
Your eyes were bright, Antonio?
They were shining there buong gabi
Parang high kasi, Antonio
Nahulog ako sa upuan, totoo ‘yan!
Gusto mo pa bang ulitin
‘Wag na, my friend, Antonio
