In the Philippines, the word “market” has always been synonymous to a populated, dirty, and stinky place where fresh meats and other food products could be bought.

Often times all markets are perceived to be generally untidy and unsanitary that is why most people don’t like to go in local market place as they could not take the rawness and wildness of its atmosphere.

But a lot of Filipinos still prefers doing their shopping in local wet and dry markets because of the cheap and flexible price, haggling is allowed, and goods are delivered fresh.

One market in Bukidnon is now getting the attention of social media users because of its one-of-a-kind cleanliness.

The photos of the said market uploaded by Facebook user Kyle “Kulas” Jennerman that is now going rounds all over the internet will surely shock you.

This is Maramag Public Market now dubbed as the “Cleanest Wet Market in the Philippines”. Check out the photos below and sees how tidy the said place is, a total opposite of what you will expect in a market where fish and meats are sold.
