A burglar entered a condominium unit in Makati City through a window and stole some valuables.
According to an exclusive report by Bernadette Reyes on Unang Balita on Monday, the suspect identified as Melody Feraro allegedly stole a laptop, bag, tablet, wallet, and other important documents from the condo unit of Christine David in Barangay Palanan.
The theft was discovered after the suspect was seen by security guard Mario Canaveral at the stairwell of the building.
Canaveral said he became suspicious of the suspect who was carrying a bag and a paper bag.
When cornered, the suspect refused to hand over the bags to Canaveral for inspection.
She insisted that the items she was carrying were not stolen.
Instead, the suspect shouted "Rape! Rape," Canaveral said.
The suspect was then set free.

However, later on it was found out that David's unit was burglarized and the said items were missing.
A person who knew the suspect returned some of David's documents.
David offered a reward of P2,000 for information on the whereabouts of the suspect.
However, the said person who returned the documents asked that the reward be raised to P5,000. The victim refused.
A manhunt for the suspect is ongoing.
