Vice President Leni Robredo also issued a statement complimenting Manny and comparing Manny's battle and eventual loss to the resilience of the Filipinos and their ability to stand up and get back to their feet after a blow.
"Manny's loss today will be a disappointment to many Filipinos, particularly those loyal fans who have cheered him on and have been inspired by him throughout his career.
