In the midst of the Marawi siege where death toll reaches 422 one of the Scout Ranger who got killed was PFC JEFF SANGDAAN.
Before he went to the battle, Sangdaan already wrote a letter to his beloved wife knowing what will happen on the time they are deployed in Marawi.
In his letter, he expressed how much he loved his wife and will always watch her in heaven. Sangdaan also said how much he wanted to see their baby girl and wish her to be as beautiful as her wife and to be as brave as he is.
He also said, he knows that time will come that his wife will fall in love again when she's ready and accepted whole heartedly his lost.
Lastly, he also said in the letter to tell his mother not be sad and depressed and to his father that he never regrets following his footsteps.
This very touching words from PFC JEFF SANGDAAN to his loved ones will definitely sadden his family, but later on will let them feel that he is already in heaven with the rest of the soldiers and with the angels side by side with our Saviour looking upon us all.

Habang binabasa mo to. Malamang nakuha ko na ang ticket para sa one way trip papunta dito sa kinalalagyan ko. Oo sobrang gusto ko na hahalikan pa kita nang isang huling halik. Nung bata pa ako akala ko ang Gyera ay isang laro lang ng mga paslit. Pero ngayon ibababa ko na ang baril ko sa lupa isasabit ko na ang aking mga boots. Andito nako sa tabi ni Jesus magkatabi kaming nakatingin sayo. Kaya ihimlay mo nako sa dulo ng bayan doon sa matiwasay na pwesto na may mga bulaklak. At alam kong ang kaluluwa ko ay mapupunta sa kung saan laging dinadasal ng nanay ko na mapunta. At habang binabasa mo to andun nako. Habang binabasa mo to sobrang gusto kong maisilayan ang paglabas sa mundo ng kaunaunahang babaeng anak natin. Sana maging kamukha mo at sana maging kasing tapang ko na tatayo para sa mga inosente at mahihina. At habang binabasa mo to iniisip ko na darating din ang araw na magiging handa kanang magmahal ng iba at yun ang tanging hiling ko. Habang binabasa mo to tandaan mo nasa mas magandang lugar na ako kung saan andito ang mga sundalo at anghel na nagsasaya. At habang binabasa mo to gusto kong sabihin mo sa nanay ko na wag na malungkot at pakisabi sa tatay ko na hindi ako nagsisisi na sundan ang yapak nya bilang kawal.

Let us all continue to pray for the souls of our great hero who is continually fighting against rebels and terrorists of our motherland.
May we all strengthen the fall of Marawi and other parts of Mindanao from the savage of their beliefs, because we are all their strength to embrace freedom and justice from their lost.
