RYAN Araña didn't know a party on his 36th birthday on Monday. Instead he spent it giving out food to frontliners during the enhanced community quarantine on Luzon island.
Araña shared photos and videos of him handing food such as pansit and sandwiches to policemen, traffic enforcers and security guards who are out working to ensure the safety of the Filipinos in the midst of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.
Araña also gave food to the homeless he found sleeping in the streets.
The Rain or Shine veteran even prepared some of the food by himself, as a video even showed him cooking the pansit that he gave out to the frontliners.
“I planned on making it more meaningful by celebrating with our heroes in the streets. Thank you to our frontliners, security guards, policemen etc. It was a simple act yet seeing their big smiles made it fulfilling. I hope we can spread kindness and positivity especially at a time like this,” said Araña, who also thanked the people in his home who helped him prepare the food.
