Radio host and socmed blogger Mark Lopez has taken once again to Facebook, as the title says, to put the issue of Mr. Gabby Lopez citizenship in proper perspective.
In a Facebook post with the title, “HALF FILIPINO, HALF AMERIKANO”, Lopez, no relation with the Lopezes of the Kapamilya network, wrote: “Ilagay natin sa tamang perspective ang issue ng citizenship ni Mr Gabby Lopez.”
Lopez asked netizens why the 1987 PH Constitution explicitly said so, “Bakit ba kasi may Section 11 ang Article 16 ng 1987 Philippine Constitution?”
According to Mark Lopez, it is important that a true Filipino owns a media company because it has a huge influence over the lives of Filipinos.
“Importante kasi na tunay na Pilipino ang may hawak ng isang media company, dahil ito ay may malaking impluwensya sa buhay ng mga Pilipino.”
More so in the case of a giant media company like the Kapamilya. “Lalu na ang isang higante na ABS CBN.”
Lopez urged netizens to think that if Mr. Gabby Lopez took his oath of allegiance to the USA, it is not far-fetched that the US government may use him as an agent in the Philippines and tells him to use ABS-CBN in manipulating the minds of the Filipino public to further the interest of Uncle Sam.
“Aba isipin nyo na lang na kung sa America pala namamalagi at sumumpa ng allegiance si Gabby Lopez, hindi malayo na sya ay puedeng gamitin ng estado ng Amerika bilang agent nito sa Pilipinas, at pagsabihan at utusan na gamitin ang kanyang ownership ng ABS CBN para manipulahin ang mga Pilipino at itaguyod ang interest ni Uncle Sam.”
On top of that, there is a possibility that the US may favor a certain candidate in our presidential election and tell Mr. Lopez to use ABS-CBN in promoting the candidacy of their candidate and help him or her secure the win.
“Kasama na jan ang POSIBILIDAD na may pabor na kandidato si Amerika pagdating sa presidential election dito, at sasabihan lang nya si Mr Lopez na gamitin ang ABS CBN para pasikatin ang kanilang kandidato at papanaluhin.”
Lopez remarked that if it happens America’s candidate is Poe, then America has a tight grip of our necks. “At kung nangyari POE yan eh di hawak na tayo sa leeg ng Amerika?”
Lopez reckoned this is why our Constitution said so. “Kaya po ganyan ang ating Konstitusyon.”
“Maliwanag?” Lopez asked.
