Dong is Marian’s answered prayer.
Kapuso Primetime Queen is the special guest of hairstylist Celeste Tuviera’s vlog.
Marian and Celeste look back at Dong and Marian’s 2014 wedding. Marian told Celeste that her husband Dong Dantes is a gift and God’s answer to her prayers.
“Isa ito sa ipinagdasal ko kay Lord. Sabi ko, Lord gusto kong magkaroon ng asawa, isang responsible, bibigyan ako ng anak at simpleng buhay.“
[It’s one of my prayers to God. I said, ‘Lord i want to have a responsible husband, who can give me children and simple life.]
“Basta masaya at buo. Kasi, coming from broken family, isa ‘yan sa mga wish ko talaga. At pinapanalangin ko talaga ng taimtim ‘yan. Gusto kong magkaroon ng buong pamilya, binigay Niya ‘yon.”
[Happy and whole (family). I came from a broken family, and that’s really one of my wishes and what i have been praying for. I want to have a whole family. God gave it to me.]
“So si Dong talaga ang pinakasagot sa mga prayer ko, nandiyan lang pala. Talagang kakapanalangin ko at maraming mga signs na binibigay sa akin, si Dong talaga ang nandiyan.”
[Dong is really the answer to my prayers. I kept praying, and there were a lot of signs that Dong is the one.]
