The most awaited comeback!
Marian Rivera and Dong Dantes, the Primetime king and queen, have signed a deal with GMA Network and APT Entertainment Incorporated to make their television comeback.
Together with Dantes couple’s production outfit, the Agosto Dos as producers for their upcoming sitcom “Jose and Maria’s Bonggang Villa.”
“I missed working with Marian on television, this is the first ever collaboration of GMA and APT.” Dong said.
“This is one of the things that I really enjoy doing and it’s more fun because Dingdong is with me.” Marian said.
GMA film president and programming consultant with the chairman and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon Valdes and Vice president for program management Joey Abacan also attended the contract signing event.
“We’re very happy beside it’s starring Marian and Dingdong, they are also part of the production because we’re also partners for this sitcom. So were very excited for this.” Said Atty Annette Gozon Valdes.
“I worked with Dingdong and Marian as actors and this time, it’s very exciting because you know here, they have creating inputs.” Said Mr. Joey Abacan
President and CEO Mike Tuviera and COO Jojo Oconer of APT entertainment incorporated are the ones who signed the contract.
“This is very exciting for us, for the APT. Because just to have stars like Dong and Yan is a big deal already, but to partner with them as co-producers is extraordinary.” Said by APT CEO Mike Tuviera.
“This is the first time to work with them together, in GMA, we’ve been working together for many times. But with Agosto Dos this is the first time so we’re very excited.” Said APT COO Jojo Oconer.
GMA chairman and CEO atty. Felipe Algozon and GMA EVP Felipe S. Yalong also gave a message for Marian And Dingong.
“Dingdong and Marian are two of the homegrown talents of GMA network. They became the most popular stars. We are very sure that their fans from here in the Philippines and worldwide, they will welcome them back in Television very soon.”
Said GMA chairman and CEO atty. Felipe Gozon.
“We are so happy and proud of how much the two of you (Yan and Dong) have grown as individual artists. Now as a co-producers in GMA, we’re looking forward to many more partnerships with you.” Said GMA EVP Felipe S. Yalong
