DongYanatics For LeniKiko!
The biggest fandom of Dong Dantes and Marian Rivera ‘The Official DongYanatics’ released their official statement in regards of supporting the candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo for President and Kiko Pangilinan for Vice President on their official instagram account.
Their statement reads,
“SUPPORT STATEMENT FOR LENI & KIKO
We, the core group members of the Official DongYanatics, express our support for the candidacy of Leni Robredo for President, and Kiko Pangilinan for Vice President of the Philippines in the coming May 9 elections.
As DongYan fans, we have also evolved from mere fangirling to joining and initiating socio-civic activities. Family, society, and life experiences shaped our perspectives and reality.
We realize that the May 9 elections is crucial because the next leaders will address, among other things, health issues and economic recovery.
We put to good use our fact checking skills in our choice for the leaders of our country . (Suffice it to say that we have become adept at fact checking because our idols are often the subjects of absurd rumors, lies, and distortion of truth).
We also went through our own process of discernment as to who can appropriately and rightfully lead us as real servant leaders of our country.
The reasons for our support are as follows:

INTEGRITY – morally upright, no scandals, good tax payers, no corruption issues.
COMPASSIONATE – understands and helps alleviate the misfortune of others.

Sa darating na eleksyon, pinipili namin tumindig para sa katotohanan, sa tapat na pag sisilbi sa bayan at gobyernong hindi tayo nanakawan. Tumitindig kami para kay Leni Robredo at Kiko Pangilinan.
