NLEX to replace Thomas Robinson following shouting match with NorthPort officials

The NLEX Road Warriors have decided to send Thomas Robinson home days after he figured in a spat with team officials from the NorthPort Batang Pier.

The NLEX management has already informed Robinson of their decision, according to a Spin.ph report.

Robinson had a monster 30-point, 18-rebound stat line against the Batang Pier last week, as he helped NLEX notch its second win of the conference.

However, his verbal altercation with NorthPort governor Eric Arejola and team manager Pido Jarencio marred his brilliant performance.

The Spin.ph report added that Robinson was supposed to be summoned by PBA officials the next day after the NorthPort-NLEX match-up, but he left with his family for a short vacation in Palawan.

Robinson, a former NBA first-round draft pick, steered the Road Warriors to a 2-2 start in the Commissioner’s Cup. (MJD)
