Concerns arose among volleyball fans as NxLed Chameleons star Ivy Lacsina suffered another knee injury in their recent PVL 1st All-Filipino Conference game against the Cignal HD Spikers.
The former National University Lady Bulldogs standout awkwardly bent her knee after colliding with Chameleons libero Dani Ravena, requiring assistance from her teammates to be carried off the court.
The recent injury served as a setback for Lacsina, who had just recovered from a separate knee injury incurred during practice before the start of the conference.
Some netizens believe that the Chameleons’ coaching staff should return Lacsina to her regular position as a middle blocker instead of insisting on her playing the hitter position.
Injury prone si Lacsina. Dapat talaga ibalik na sa middle. Hoping it's nothing serious. Speedy recovery, Ivy.
