Jonah “Kobe ng Pinas” Jacob turned emotional after his ejection during Binan Tatak Gel Beast Motorcycle Tires GameX’s 133-86 win over the Top Tier Athletics-Lipa Batangas Stallions in the PSL President’s Cup on Wednesday night.
A video shared by DWAR Abante Radyo showed Jacob wiping away tears following his dismissal midway through the second quarter after an altercation with Stallions’ Harmz “Mr. Long Bomb” Hui.
The incident unfolded at the 6:55 mark when Hui pushed Jacob to the floor, sparking a confrontation that led to both players being ejected after an official review.
Before his ejection, Jacob was having an impressive game for Binan, tallying 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including two three-pointers, along with one rebound, one steal, and one block.
With the win, Binan snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 4-2, while the Stallions dropped to 1-6.
