The Los Angeles Lakers bolstered their perimeter shooting after acquiring Luke Kennard from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Gabe Vincent and a 2032 second-round draft pick.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Kennard gives the Lakers another scoring option on the wing alongside Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and LeBron James as the team pushes through the season.
The Hawks, one of the busiest teams before the trade deadline, receives veteran guard Vincent while creating an $11 million trade exception and adding a future draft asset.
In a separate set of transactions, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Chicago Bulls completed a multiplayer deal.
Minnesota acquired Ayo Dosunmu and Julian Phillips, while Chicago received Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller and four second-round draft picks.
The New York Knicks also struck a trade with the Bulls, sending forward Guerschon Yabusele to Chicago in exchange for guard Dalen Terry.
The series of moves reshapes the rosters of several teams as the NBA trade market continues to heat up. (AC)
