He said that the Duterte administration have found genuine basis for declaring martial law in Mindanao after the Maute group attempted to take control of the Marawi City. But despite the city is already being destroyed, civilians being killed and beheaded, martial law is continuously being halted by the Liberal Party's lawmakers.
He said that if martial law is lifted and the terrorist are able to move with their missions, no one else will be blamed except the President.
Corpuz had raised many questions and speculations. Knowing that the government authorities have retrieved checks and cash almost amounting to P80 million, where did get that? Who gave that much money to them?
What puzzled him the most is why does the LP keeps on attempting to have the martial law in Mindanao withdrawn and wants to stop the air strikes in Marawi City?
And now that the government knows that the ISIS-Maute terrorist are equipped with high caliber ammunitions, like the barett and even have drones, how did they get those when these cost quite a lot.
There are also several kilos of shabu confiscated in different locations which are believed to be owned by the local terrorist group inspired by the ISIS.
Moreover, he asked, who's behind to all of this schemes?
