Funerals are typically marked by solemn silence, but for Emmanuel Omaña's family and friends, it was a day of dancing and singing.
Omaña, a Secondary Education student from Bulacan State University, passed away on July 2 after a long bout with leukemia. His dying wish was for his funeral to bring joy.
Friend Francis Miguel Englatera shared in a report by Victoria Tulad for Saksi on Friday that Omaña planned out all the details, from the casket to the flowers to the gleeful singing.
He then additionally said that Omaña wanted to be featured on television — a final wish that came true as the video of his funeral aired, showing his friends singing Abba's "Dancing Queen."
Omaña's friends continue to leave messages on his Facebook page, celebrating his life just like he wanted
