Gone are the days when we used to live in caves. Modernization has indeed provided us an easier access to primary necessities and comfort in life. But you will be surprised that a man named Angelo Mastropietro built his dream home not out of modern materials but in a cave.
Angelo Mastropietro was a former businessman. To cure his multiple sclerosis, he decided to live a simple life. He spent a total of 8 months renovating a 250-million-year-old cave in the Wyre Forest, Worcestershire.
Mastropietro managed to transform the cave into a luxurious hub. He reportedly spent £160,000 and 1000 hours carving the cave despite his condition. He even installed a Wi-Fi, running waters, and underfloor heating for a more comfy living.
