It all started when, while looking at blueprints of his new home, a man realized there was something incredibly large buried in his backyard. So he did what any reasonable person would do in his position: he pulled out a shovel and started digging to figure out what it was.
Back in the 1960s, a fallout shelter had been placed in his backyard. He discovered a metal hatch when he was digging. Anxious to find out what was inside, he opened the covering and discovered the fallout shelter.
However, they first decided to undergo a serious cleaning operation. The stairs were covered in so much rubble that they could barely be able to enter the fallout shelter. A vent they found is probably where the air came from and if the passage was filled with rubble any person locked inside would have eventually suffocated to death.

The fallout shelter was eventually completely cleaned out and the homeowner was very pleased with the way it looked. In fact, the homeowner loved it so much he decided to keep it and renovate it.
Aside from restoring the shelter to its former glory, he also started to make it more accessible. He got the help of friends from construction to pour concrete over the frame to make newly improved and sturdier entrance.
