Photo of a piece of paper that Vice Mayor Nova Parojinog-Echavez attempted to swallow during the bloody search at her family house last Sunday has been revealed.
The paper shows handwritten expenses for Hundreds of thousands of pesos.
The words 'COA Dress', 'Dept. Heads', and 'Additional Food (pack lunch) for schools' could be read in the inscriptions.
Ozamiz City police Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido earlier said it was a drug transaction list.
However, Parojinog's legal counsel Ferdinand Topacio said that his client can explain the item in court.
"May konteksto ang kabanata na 'yan at dapat ipaliwanag ang konteksto, pero naipaliwanag po sa amin 'yan ng aming kliyente" Topacio said.
Nova Princess and her brother Reynaldo Jr., have been brought to Camp Crame are facing charges for violation of Section 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (possession of dangerous drugs) and Section 21 of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (acquisition or purchase and sale of firearms and ammunition).
They were also charged for violating Section 3-A of Republic Act 9516 or "unlawful manufacture, sales, acquisition, disposition, importation or possession of a part, ingredient, machinery, tool or instrument used or intended to be used for the manufacture, construction, assembly, delivery or detonation."
