Following the statement of Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog’s lawyer Atty. Ferdinand Topacio that it was not shabu that his client was trying to hide and swallow is the revelation.
In an article by GMA News posted is a piece of paper that Nova attempted to swallow during the gruesome arrest at her family’s residence conducted by authorities, early morning last Sunday.
The paper is a kind of list showing expenses for hundreds of thousands of pesos written by pen. Certain words such as ‘COA Dress’, ‘Dept. Heads’, and ‘Additional Food (pack lunch) for the schools’ are written on that paper. Parojinog’s lawyer, atty. Topacio said that his client could explain everything in court.

Meanwhile, the said list is being kept by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the Philippine National Police (PNP-CIDG). The paper will be used as valuable evidence in the ongoing investigation of Parojinogs’ alleged involvement in the illegal drug activities.
Ozamiz City police said that the paper was a list of her family’s drug transactions.
"Hindi iyon shabu, yun lahat ang details ng transaksyon nila sa drugs," Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido told the reporters last Wednesday.
