Sigrid Andrea Bernardo’s "Kita Kita" starring the unusual tandem of Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez is getting the same attention as Antoinette Jadaone’s "That Thing Called Tadhana" which became successful without much marketing. "Kita Kita" received rave reviews from critics and audience for its ability to entertain and move its viewers.
The movie already bagged more than P210 million income in just two weeks of being aired. All production staff and casts did not expect that the movie would get too much attention from the moviegoers.
"Kita Kita" has lead stars Alex and Empoy continue to receive positive feedback regarding their tandem. A fan's club called "Alempoy" was even established by supporters to show appreciation for the two.

"When we opened, we had P2 million on the first day. On the second day we had P4 million. Actually happy na kami d'on.

"Mas may edge siya, may statement siya," the director and producer said.
