The photo of two Chinese men giving free mask to passersby in Makati draws words of sympathy and understanding from Pinoy netizens.
Facebook netizen Precious Ann Patiño uploaded the photo on Facebook, apparently to send a message to fellow countryman to stop hating the Chinese, instead help one another amid the coronavirus scare.
Patiño wrote that she did not read clearly the message on the phone of the Chinese wearing a black shirt but it seems she read the word “hug” while the other Chinese wearing a white shirt was the one handing out the mask.
Patiño asked those who happen to pass by PBCom Makati to accept the mask because this way, they can make up for then ill-feelings we have towards them and at the same time, we let them help us.
Patiño said that a lot of things have happened now and letting hate prevail is counterproductive, so its better to help one another.

Di ko masyado nabasa yung naka flash dun sa cp ng naka black na chinese pero parang mag nakalagay ata dun na “hug” then yung naka white sya may hawak ng mask sya taga abot.
