As the number of covid-19 cases continue to rise in the Philippines, more and more Filipinos are venturing out of their houses, despite the enhanced community quarantine imposed in the entire Luzon island, particularly in Metro Manila.
Many netizens have been vocal in expressing their frustration against the violators of the ECQ (enhanced community quarantine) in social media.
Some are even asking President Duterte to impose Martial Law and call the Army to stop Metro Manila residents from going out their homes and do stupid things like engaging in illegal cock fights, street boxing matches and even violating the liquor ban.
However, Manila Bulletin writer isn’t convince yet that Martial Law will solve this problem. But, she offered a solution to this dilemma.
In a Facebook post, Chu said the solution to this problem lies in the hands of the Duterte government doing something that is long overdue – make Koko Pimentel answer for violating the quarantine protocol and Filipinos will follow.

Dear government,
You know why you’re having a problem controlling people from going out?
Because as I said, you lost your authority and credibility when you REFUSED to do anything to KOKO PIMENTEL, who knowingly broke the rules because of his sense of entitlement.
ARREST KOKO PIMENTEL, and make him an example, and you will see the poor follow.
This is why walang ngipin ang rules ninyo because you allowed KOKO PIMENTEL TO openly flout the rules. Koko Pimentel Senator Koko Pimentel damaged the legitimacy and the moral ascendancy of this government—and yet his own party mates cannot even call him out.
Sen Christopher Bong Go, hope you can find a way to discipline your fellow Senator, or else we can all just lean back and look at the poor swarm the markets because they need to do it, vis a vis just being an entitled prick who thinks he is exempted from following rules.
