Bahrain-based OFW tells Leni Robredo to stop spreading fear re anti-terror bill, asks which group she’s protecting?

A certain Mira Savaria Encabo, an OFW based in Bahrain has taken to socmed appealing to VP Leni Robredo to refrain from spreading fear re anti-terror bill.

Encabo was in utter disbelief that the Vice-President would oppose the anti-terror bill rather than support it. She asked Robredo who is she protecting? Which group? Is she already worried?

Diyos ko po Madam! Vise President ka pa naman ng bansa! Imbes na kaisa ka ng pamunuan ng gobyerno sa pagsugpo sa terorismo ikaw pa itong umaangal! Sino ba kasi ang pinoprotektahan mo? Aling grupo ba? #Nababahala ka na ba?

Encabo asked Robredo what timing she want? When is the right time that this matter is debated and passed into law? Does Robredo knows when terrorist attacks? Encabo asked just because there is a pandemic, Congress is not allowed to work? Isn’t this the job of Congress? Otherwise, dissolve Congress if Robredo opposes the bills Congress passed.

At ano po bang timing gusto nyo? Kelan ba sa tingin nyo magandang mapag-usapan at mapasa ito? Alam nyo ba kung kelan lulusob ang mga terorista??? Porke’t may pandemic ba di na pwede magtrabaho ang Kongreso??? E di ba nga yan ang trabaho nila? Ang gumawa ng batas, otherwise dissolve the Congress na lang kung lahat ng batas e kinokontra nyo.

Encabo remarked that if Robredo is concerned about the pandemic, there is another agency responsible for this and with the help of Congress, the budget is released to help the people – the Bayanihan We Heal As One Act.

Kung ang concern nyo is ang pandemic, may ibang ahensya na namamahala dyan at sa tulong pa rin ng Kongreso nakapagpalabas ng mga pondo para tulong sa mga tao – the Bayanihan We Heal As One Act!

Encabo asked Robredo to do the public a favor – to stop pre-empting and stop spreading fear among the public, not unless she was there during the deliberation. Encabo said there are many lawmaker in both Houses of Congress, doesn’t she think the lawmakers did not study this thoroughly and debate on the bill before they passed it in the final reading?

At please lang huwag nyong pangunahan at huwag kayong magspread ng fear sa mga tao, not unless andoon po kayo sa deliberation. Sa dami ng lawmakers natin both in Lower House and Senate, do you think di nila pinag-aralang mabuti at pinagdebatehan yan bago pumasa sa final reading???
