Suzette Severo Doctolero, GMA 7’s preeminent SOAP drama head writer, has offered some strong words for former GMA talent Angel Locsin who said something at yesterday’s rally that catches the attention of the former.
In a Facebook post, Doctolero expressed her admiration for Locsin’s courage but at the same time telling her not to make exaggerated statements. She said Locsin made a fortune when she was with GMA. She added Locsin’s net worth was substantial when the latter transferred to the other side.
‘A e I admire your courage po pero huwag exag. Kumita ka ng sobrang laki sa GMA. Malaki ang net worth mo nung lumipat ka sa kabila.’
Doctolero appeals to Locsin to stick to facts. Calls it crazy. She said perhaps the actress whose fame and fortune was catapulted by the GMA 7 TV blockbuster hit ‘Darna’ was simply carried away by emotions running high hence saying those words bordering on lies and theatrics. Doctolero asked Locsin to correct her if she was mistaken.
‘Sa totoo lang tayo ha. Kaloka. Though baka naman din kasi sa sobrang silakbo lang ng damdamin mo kaya mo siguro nasabi ang tila yata kasinungalingan na padrama mo na ito, right?’
Doctolero once again reminded Locsin it is a common knowledge and the BIR that the actress was not dirt poor when she transferred to the Kapamilya network. She even encouraged Locsin to continue the fight.
‘Pero, gurl, we know at ng BIR na di ka patay gutom nung lumipat ka sa kabila, teh. But go, tuloy ang laban, gurl.’
Doctolero advised Locsin to refrain from issuing OA or overreacting statements. Stick to the truth. She also reminded that GMA 7 made Locsin Darna.
‘Wag lang oa sa mga statement. Sa truth lang tayo, yes! Btw, ginawa ka naming Darna.’
Doctolero said she was glad that until now the superhero image has stuck to Locsin. She advised Locsin to learn how to look back where she came from and to stop lying.
‘Im glad na until now ay nakakabit sa iyo ang pagiging superhero.. kaya sana konting lingon naman ng konti sa pinanggalingan at huwag magsisinungaling ha?’
Doctolero ended the open letter by reminding Angel Locsin the essence of a real heroine.
‘Ang totoong hero ay may integredad at di liar, di ba?’
