In a series of Facebook posts with the title, ‘Ubos na Katol’, Atty. Nick Nañgit of the FB page called Nick Nañgit – NCN Law, made a reaction ‘paper’ on the socmed statements of the Kapamilya stars.
The first Kapamilya star to receive the distinction of Atty. Nick Nañgit’s socmed rant on Facebook is none other than Nadine Lustre who said along this line that like the rest of the Filipinos, she cried for the country.
Atty. Nick remarked that being an artists and popular among Filipinos does not necessarily mean their brains have content. He added that each individuals have unique capabilities.
‘Hindi porket kilala kayong mga artista ng maraming Pinoy e ibig sabihin may laman na ang mga utak ninyo. May kanya-kanya tayong kakayanan.’
Atty. Nick acknowledged that artists like Nadine can act, sing and dance but not all of them can act, dance or sing well.
‘Marunong kayong umarte, sumayaw, at kumanta, kahit hindi rin lahat sa inyo ay magaling umarte, sumayaw, at kumanta.’
Meanwhile, Atty. Nick remarked that on one hand, Filipinos who are not artists (excluding him because he appeared in theater arts), who have no talent to enter showbizness, have no illusions of going into acting, dancing and singing except when it is just for fun in the workplace or in school. Hence, ordinary Filipinos don’t care what is happening in showbiz etc. because it is not our thing.
‘Sa hanay naman naming mga hindi artista ang karir (exclude mo ako diyan, dahil gumanap na rin ako sa teatro), wala mang kakayanan ang karamihan sa amin, hindi kami nakikisawsaw sa pag-arte, pagsayaw, at pagkanta, maliban na lang kung katuwaan lamang ito sa mga pinagtatrabahuan namin o pinapasukang paaralan. Despues, tahimik kami sa kaganapan sa showbiz, gaya ng artist management, playdates, programming, atbp. Di kasi namin linya yan.’
‘Kaya, wag kang epal, Nadine!’ Atty. Nick barked at the young actress.
Atty. Nick scolded Nadine, telling the young actress to know her place and discussing legal matter is not her thing. She better listen than talk because she will just get embarrassed for knowing a little.
‘Hindi mo rin linya ang kaalaman sa batas. Makinig ka na lang kesa sumatsat, dahil mapapahiya ka lang sa kakulangan ng iyong nalalaman.’
And out of nowhere, Atty. Nick mentioned the breakup of Nadine’s loveteam with James, that her last movie was a huge flop and the Kapamilya network is done. He also reminded Nadine not to insist that the Kapamilya has 11K employees because it has not been proven during the hearing in Congress. He joked that this is mere hearsay from their Bosses so that their mistresses can be counted as part of the regular payroll.
‘Nabuwag na nga ang kiyeme kiyeme ninyong labteam ni James, flop pa ang huli mong pelikulang Indak, at naubos na rin ang Katol. Wag mong ipagpilitan ang 11k, dahil hindi yan napatunayan sa Kongreso. Sabi sabi lang ng mga bosing ninyo na pilit isinasama sa bilangan ang mga kabit lang sa regular payroll.’
Atty. Nick categorically stated that Nadine’s act of crying was only for the Kapamilya. The public does not care. Not because she cried, the public also starts crying with her. He said this is the real world not showbiz. If he laugh, it’s none of her business.
‘Ang iyak mo ay iyak mo lang para sa Katol. Wa kami pake. Hindi porket umiiyak ka e iiyak na rin kaming lahat. Realidad ito, hindi showbiz. Kung hahalakhak ako, wa ka rin pake.’
And lastly, Atty. Nick declared that his love for the Philippines is greater than the Kapamilya network.
‘Mas higit kong mahal ang Pilipinas kesa sa Katol mo.’
