An open letter addressed to human rights lawyer and OtsoDiretso 2016 senatorial candidate Chel Diokno has been making the rounds on Facebook.
The letter sender is none other than DDS blogger Andrew Olivar who wrote the letter in response to the tweet of Diokno who accused the Duterte government of being the mastermind behind the #OustKiko movement which trended on Twitter lately.
Olivar’s brilliant and humorous response amuses internet, generating 1,800 plus laughs out of 2,800 reactions from netizens.
In his tweet, Diokno said that the Duterte admin should not use the covid pandemic to advance the interest of the true oligarchs who are political families. He said testing and aid are what the public need.
Olivar addressed Chel Diokno “Dear T00th fairy,” in reference to his distinguishing feature, his front teeth.
Olivar continued that even before the covid pandemic happened, many people have died and got sick everyday.
‘Kahit noong wala pa ang covid 19 ay madami na pong namamatay at nagkakasakit. Araw araw po talaga ay may namamatay at nagkakasakit..’
On Diokno’s innuendo that the #OustKiko trend was administration’s gimmick? Olivar returned the question by asking Diokno if Malacanang posted something on socmed with that hashtag? He said it was people-initiated.
‘Paandar ng administrasyon?? May pinost ba ang malacañang na magHASHTAG ng ganyan?? Taumbayan ang may gusto..’
Olivar pressed on by asking Diokno if this is not what Kiko and company’s thing and priority?
‘Bakit si KIKO at iba pang mga kasamahan nya hindi ba ganyan ang mga paandar nila at inuuna nila??’
In other words, Olivar said this is their thing and a simply case of the pot calling the kettle black.
‘Gawain ninyo binabato nyo sa iba para magmukha kayong malinis..’
On Diokno telling the Duterte admin to refrain from using the covid pandemic to push their interest? Olivar asked Diokno if this isn’t their thing? He urged Diokno to backread the post of the Dilawans. They have use the pandemic issue to the hilt to push their own interest which is inimical to public interest.
‘Wag sana gagamitin ang COVID para ipilit ang interes?? Diba gawain nyo yun? Try mong balikan mga post ninyong mga dilawan. Gamit na gamit ninyo ang PANDEMIC na ito para sa interes ninyo na makasira lamang.’
On testing and aid? Olivar shouted back that the government has been doing this and asked what he has been blabbing about?
‘Testing at ayuda?? Hoy nabigay na yan!!! Ano pang nginangalngal ng ngipin mo jan??’
Olivar urged Diokno to take note of the words he has been using and all he can say that he has abused it.
‘Tignan nyo hindi lang yung word na “pandemic/covid” ang ginagamit ninyo kundi yung word na “taumbayan”!! Gasgas na yang word na “taumbayan”. Laspag na!! Di na V!rgin!!’
Olivar ended the post by reminding Diokno their bitter and humiliating defeat in the 2016 election.
