Hershey Neri who played Marielou on Dong Dantes and Marian Rivera’a hit sitcom Jose & Maria’s bonggang Villa shared a heartwarming story about Marian’s kindness to her.
Hershey is being managed by All Access to Artist Inc. (AAA) The same management who managed the career of Marian Rivera and Main Mendoza.
Hershey is a newcomer in showbiz, she is blessed to be part of DongYan’s sitcom. Hershey shared her experience working with The Primetime Queen.

“On the day I found out that THE Marian Rivera will be the lead star of our sitcom, I felt immense pressure.
Who wouldn’t? She is, after all, the Primetime Queen of Television and the face you see every day on gigantic EDSA billboards.
On my first ever project last year, a producer advised me to aspire to work like Marian Rivera—who was always on time, never, ever late, and always comes in prepared.
“Nako, pag naka-work mo si Marian, napakabilis lagi ng shoot kasi hindi siya na-lalate at kabisado na agad ang lines! Kaya dapat siya ang gawin mong role model, kasi bukod sa napakagaling, napakasarap pang maka-trabaho.”
So before meeting the Queen of TV in person, I already knew 3 things about her: Maganda, Mahusay, at Masipag.
But in the 4 months that I got to truly know Ate Marian, I found out that she’s also 3 other things—Mabait, Mapagbigay, at Mapagmahal 
She is the heart of the show—the glue that binds us all together.
On our Pilot Taping, I didn’t know much people on set, so I ate dinner in my dressing room.
I was surprised that Ms Marian—our lead actress and co-producer—personally walked to my room and called me to join them to eat.
She even grabbed my plate and a “pang-sandok”, and placed rice and ulam on it. She returned the plate with a smile, and said “Kain ka, ha?”
Every single day, in her own little way, she makes everyone, including a newbie like me, feel included on set—both on and off cam.
One time during lunch, we had big names and VIP guests on the set. I was shy to join them at the lunch table, so I went to one corner to eat.
Ms Marian looked at me and grinned, “Oh. Bakit nandiyan ka? Diba may seating arrangement tayo? Tabihan mo ako dito!”
Because of Ms Marian, I felt safe

From creating a group chat where the whole cast can share memes to each other, to sharing delicious food every taping day, Ate Marian is the reason why there’s so much love and kindness on set.
