The first game of the 48th season of the PBA will be a match-up between the Magnolia Hotshots and the TNT Tropang Giga.
The league has announced the schedule of its elimination-round games for Tuesday. The opening day will be on November 5.
The Season 47 Leo Awards will begin the festivities on opening day, followed by the opening ceremonies and then the game between the Hotshots and the Tropang Giga.
There will only be one game on November 5.
PBA games will be held on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
There are also five provincial games in the Commissioner’s Cup. The first will be in Tiaong, Quezon, on November 25, between the Converge FiberXers and the San Miguel Beermen. Next is on December 9 in San Jose, Batangas, in a game featuring the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters and Barangay Ginebra.
A week later, the PBA will go to Cagayan de Oro City for a faceoff between the Hotshots and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. The fourth provincial game of the conference is on January 6 in Iloilo City, in a game between the Hotshots and the Meralco Bolts.
On January 13, Ginebra will go up against the NLEX Road Warriors in a provincial game, with the venue still to be announced.
