National University Bulldogs guard Kean Baclaan was unsuccessful in his campaign for the position of Sanggunian Kabataan chairman in Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa City.
In a social media post on Monday night, Baclaan said that he was unsuccessful on his first try in politics.
Baclaan lost to Gab Lorica in the SK chairman race in the said barangay.
“Talo po ako, pero sa puso ng mga kabataan sa lugar namin, panalo ako alam na nila kung ano ang totoo at hindi!” Baclaan said.
“‘Di man ako pinalad tutulong at tutulong padin po ako sa mga kabataan sa bayanan
,” added the Bulldogs guard.
Baclaan will now shift his focus to the Bulldogs’ campaign in the ongoing UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball tournament.
