The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters have officially signed former University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers shooter Sherwin Concepcion to a one-season rookie deal.
The signing was completed Monday morning.
“After some meetings among the coaches, the team has decided to sign Sherwin to a one-year deal,” a Painters official told Atletiko.
Concepcion was known for his three-point accuracy during his two seasons with the Growling Tigers in the UAAP.
He also suited up for the CAVITEX Braves in the PBA 3×3 tournament after he finished his collegiate eligibility with UST.
Concepcion is the third rookie signed by the Elasto Painters, following big men Luis Villegas and Keith Datu. They still hold the rookie rights of former Mapua University Cardinals guard Adrian Nocum.
