A member of the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons men’s basketball team received online criticism for grabbing the mask of an employee during a “horror train” ride at an amusement park.
In a recently viral video clip, a player from the Fighting Maroons is observed pulling down the mask of a “horror train” employee, with laughter from his teammates audible in the background.
Recently the UP Maroons went to Subic for some gift giving & then to Fiesta Carnival. Great!!!
Yes they were having fun but there was no need to hurt an employee assigned in the horror train. What a classy act

The video did not clearly identify the individual responsible for the inappropriate action toward the employee. However, some netizens are speculating that Francis Lopez, the UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball tournament Rookie of the Year winner, might be the culprit.

A few weeks ago, the Fighting Maroons suffered a defeat at the hands of the De La Salle University Green Archers in the finals of the just-concluded UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball tournament.
