Coach Kung Fu: Youthful UST Golden Tigresses continuously learn with each game

Emilio “Kung Fu” Reyes, head coach of the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses, emphasized that his team, comprised of young players, is continuously gaining valuable experience from their matches in the ongoing UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament.

Reyes highlighted that the Golden Tigresses are extracting various lessons from each of their eight matches in the tournament, which they aim to apply effectively once they advance to the playoff round.

“Another great experience para dito sa young guns namin, kasama na ‘yung mental toughness sa nadedevelop sa amin every game,” Reyes said in a post-game interview on Wednesday night.

The seasoned Golden Tigresses mentor reiterated the importance of respecting their opponents and cautioned his team against underestimating any opponent.

The Golden Tigresses, currently leading the league with an 8-0 win-loss record, are set to square off against the National University Lady Bulldogs on Sunday, March 24, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
