Justin Brownlee names Gabe Norwood as his toughest defender in the PBA

As unstoppable as he is, Ginebra resident import Justin Brownlee still admitted that there’s a defender in the PBA that makes scoring hard for him.

During a recent vlog from the PBA MotoClub, Jayjay Helterbrand asked Brownlee about the defender who gives him a hard time every time they face on the court.

“I gotta say Gabe [Norwood] is the one,” Brownlee answered.

The Gilas naturalized player added that Norwood’s height and length are some of his tools as a defensive player.

“And luckily, like, same thing, I’ll say I caught him a little in his career. But I remember a few years ago for sure, like, you know, he was always tough,” Brownlee said.

Norwood served as Gilas’ best perimeter defender during his tenure with the national team. In the PBA, Norwood was a one-time Defensive Player of the Year and a seven-time member of the All-Defensive Team. (MJD)
