Netizens are speculating about a potential transfer of University of the East Lady Warriors star rookie Casiey Dongallo to the De La Salle University Lady Spikers.
The rumor originated when an account on X, identified as @UmiAira, posted a blind item on Friday night regarding a certain volleyball player who is reportedly in discussions with a champion team for a potential move.
A certain volleyball player, probably the best in her generation, is currently in talks with a champion team about possibly transferring to them
Disclaimer: She may or may not transfer. Decision up to her and her family

Several netizens subsequently speculated that the “certain volleyball player” referred to in the blind item was Dongallo, with the “champion team” being the Lady Spikers.

If I were Dongallo, I'd rather stay in UE
A somehow easy crown is great. Tho championship with UE is long shot, but imagine how phenomenal would it be if UE were able to replicate the same playbook the Valdez-era ADMU used to bring their first ever championship.#UAAPSeason86

May rumors pala about dongallo going to dlsu. I think better na magstay sya sa UE kasi sobrang need sya dun kasama gajero. Tsaka madami din ata papasok na wingers in coming seasons sa DLSU. MBs ang sobrang need.

Frank Lao of Strong Group Athletics, in a response to the UE Red Tribe Facebook page, has refuted the rumors surrounding Dongallo.
Lao also dismissed another rumor suggesting that Strong Group Athletics (SGA) is withdrawing its support for the Lady Warriors following the temporary suspension imposed by the UAAP Board on head coach Jerry Yee.
“Not true, tapusin ko yon contract ko na 3 years, kasama mga bata, dont worry,” Lao said.
Dongallo currently ranks second on the league’s best scorers list with a total of 158 points after seven games. She trails fellow rookie Angeline Poyos of the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses, who amassed 174 points after eight matches.
Despite Dongallo’s scoring efforts, the Lady Warriors remained in seventh place in the standings, having won just one of their seven first-round games.
