In a postgame interview on Sunday, Belen emphasized that the team’s priority remained the championship title, with individual awards serving as a bonus. She added that their SSL campaign has significantly boosted their confidence heading into the UAAP tournament.

“I’m very happy na nagawa ng team kung ano ‘yung dapat gawin. Sumunod lang ‘yung pagkapanalo namin,” Belen stated.

“Dadalhin namin siya, ‘yung lessons na natutunan namin, for the season next year,” she added.

Despite her recent achievements, Belen remains grounded, emphasizing that the hard work must continue. With the new UAAP season fast approaching, the Lady Bulldogs are staying focused and committed to defending their championship title.
