Mike Tyson’s team denies Jake Paul’s Parkinson’s claim

Mike Tyson’s representatives have denied Jake Paul’s claim that the former heavyweight champion has Parkinson’s disease.

Speaking to streamer Adin Ross, Paul suggested that Tyson had used psychedelic toad venom before their eight-round boxing match in November, saying it “cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s so he could come back and fight,” according to TMZ via Bleacher Report.

However, Tyson’s team refuted the claim, stating, “Mike is happy and perfectly healthy. He doesn’t have Parkinson’s or any other illness.”

Paul later walked back his statement in a social media post, admitting that he misspoke.

At 58 years old, Tyson lasted all eight rounds against Paul, who was 31 years younger at the time. Their fight was initially set for July but had to be postponed to November after Tyson withdrew due to an ulcer flare-up.
