Several members of Gilas Pilipinas found themselves briefly stuck in an elevator in Doha, Qatar, on Friday (Manila time).
A Facebook reel posted by Calvin Oftana showed him alongside Dwight Ramos, June Mar Fajardo, CJ Perez, Kevin Quiambao, Mason Amos, and AJ Edu waiting to be freed after the elevator stopped between floors.
The players were eventually rescued with the help of a technician.
Gilas is in Doha for a series of tune-up games against Qatar, Lebanon, and Egypt as part of their preparations for the final window of the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers this month.
