EUFAULA, Ala. (WRBL) — The Phenix City Police Department says a man that's accused of a murder that happened at the Brookwood Apartments in Phenix City was taken into custody.
According to Phenix City PD, the United States Marshals Task Force, with the assistance of the
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) S.W.A.T. Team, arrested JaMarrie Deaundre
Leonard, of Hurtsboro for the shooting that left a man dead and a woman injured on Sept. 29.
The man has been identified as LeNorris Boyd Jr. Leonard was taken into custody in Eufaula and will be transported back to Phenix City and booked into the Russell County Jail.
