Janti Miller has officially parted ways with the San Beda University Red Lions after just one NCAA season, according to a social media post by Abante-Bilyonaryo Group sports insider Homer Sayson.
Miller’s departure ends his stint in the NCAA, a league long regarded for its competitiveness, but one that continues to be compared with the UAAP in terms of overall depth, exposure, and level of play.
Janti Miller has left San Beda.
Excellent decision.
While the NCAA is a good league, the UAAP is incalculably better in terms of talent, quality of competition and popularity.
Whether Janti lands at La Salle or UP remains to be seen.

The Filipino-American cager has played a huge role in the Red Lions’ championship run in the NCAA Season 101 men’s basketball tournament last December.
With his exit from San Beda, attention now turns to Miller’s possible next stop. UAAP powerhouses De La Salle University Green Archers and the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons have emerged as potential landing spots, although no official decision has been announced.
Should he eventually explore his options, Miller still has at least two years of collegiate eligibility remaining after playing just one season at Casper College in the United States.
Miller’s next move is expected to draw significant interest as teams prepare for the upcoming collegiate season, with his choice likely to have an impact on the balance of power in the UAAP. (AC)
