Kai Sotto continued his strong run for the Koshigaya Alphas as they scored a 93-75 win over Sunrockers Shibuya in the Japan B.League Division 1 on Saturday night.
The 7-foot Filipino center finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds, marking his fourth double-double in his last five games and his fifth straight outing scoring in double figures.
With the victory, Koshigaya improved to 15-23, tying the Sun Rockers for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings.
It also served as a bounce back for the Alphas from a 76-67 loss to the Sendai 89ers last weekend.
Despite his strong performances since returning from an ACL injury, Sotto is reportedly being held back by Koshigaya from suiting up for Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers. (AC)
