Rain or Shine Elasto Painters guard Andrei Caracut and Capital1 Solar Energy Solar Spikers volleyball standout Mhicaela Belen became one of the hottest topics on social media after fans noticed their growing closeness during the PBA playoffs.
The online buzz intensified after Caracut delivered a playoff career-high 29 points to help the Elasto Painters defeat San Miguel Beermen, 113-104, in their quarterfinal matchup.
Adding to the attention was Belen’s presence at the venue, where she was seen cheering from the sidelines. Supporters dubbed the pairing “BellDrei.”
The speculation gained more traction when Rain or Shine forward Eric Nanas uploaded a photo of Caracut and Belen together during the team’s post-game dinner.
Several Elasto Painters players joined the fun in the comment section of Nanas’ post.
“Maganda ang balita mga kababayan, may nangyayari na,” teammate Leonard Santillan wrote.
“Ginalaw na talaga ang baso. Ganyan dapat,” added veteran center Beau Belga.
