Odell Beckham, Jr. gets No. 13 back in his return with New York Giants

ODELL Beckham, Jr. is getting a familiar number back as his return to the New York Giants continues to take shape.

The Giants announced Tuesday that Beckham will once again wear No. 13, the same jersey number he wore during his first stint with the franchise.

The three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver previously wore No. 3 during the preseason, while No. 13 belonged to Jalin Hyatt for the past three seasons before the Giants released him Sunday. Hyatt has since joined the team’s practice squad.

Beckham began his NFL career wearing No. 13 and made an immediate impact with the Giants from 2014 to 2018, recording 390 catches for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns.

“I think we all know what that means to me,” Beckham said Monday when asked about potentially reclaiming the number.

“I’ll just say we’ll see what happens, but like I said, it would be an honor and a privilege to put that back on.”

Now 33, Beckham has amassed 575 receptions, 7,987 yards and 59 touchdowns across 119 career games with the Giants, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins.
