They say that dolphins are the dogs of the ocean because they enjoy the company of humans. Playful and adorable, dolphins continue to fascinate people. The feeling might be mutual.
Dolphins are also quick swimmers, going as fast as 18mph (or 30kph), while doing out-of-the-water acrobatics to impress humans.
In a viral video, a playful dolphin looked like it would miss its lovely swimming friend. So while the girl was climbing up the rails, the lovable dolphin poked its nose where the sun doesn’t usually shine. Not once, but a lot of times!
The girl was surprised with the bump to the buttocks, of course, but continued to climb back on the boat. Undeterred, the dolphin repeatedly poked her, begging her not to leave.

It was gentle poke at first, but became more aggressive.
The cheeky dolphin seemed to be driving its point. Sadly, the girl did not get it and still left the sea.
The eartbroken dolphin was too tired, flapped its fins, and swiftly swam back to the water, while amused onlookers took a video of the hilarious poking fun.
Dolphins are exceptionally intelligent, with brains heavier than humans’ and weighing more than 1,600 grams. A significant portion of their brains is related to their sense of echolocation, similar to sonar. The clicking sounds and returning echoes help the dolphins find food and socialize with other fellow dolphins.
These mammals are also sociable, forming pods of 10-30 members that may not be related with each other. Since dolphins don’t have facial muscles, they communicate through body language, jaw claps, bubble blowing, and fin caresses. Touchy creatures, I see.

Based on research, dolphins have artificial language, object categorization, self-recognition, and mimicry. They can also manipulate tools by using sponges to protect their noses while searching for food.
Having said all those things, dolphins seem to be smarter than most humans nowadays.
