Nabatikos ng husto sa social media si Mae Paner alyas Juana Change matapos niyang ipost sa kaniyang Facebook ang larawan niya na nakasuot ng military uniform sa rally noong Lunes araw ng State of the Nation Address ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Si Mae Paner, more popularly known as Juana Change, is a Filipina TV ad director, political activist, video producer, and ctress. She is one of the organizers of the Artist’s Revolution, a crowd of Filipino artists who work and advocate for transformation in the Philippine politics and government.
Sa nasabing larawan, makikitang naka-combat boots din si Paner ay ang suot niyang uniporme ng military ay mayroong nakasula na ‘Army’ at may caption ito na “Major Juana Change Push para sa pagbabago. #SONA2017”.
Si dating Armed Forces of the Philippines Lt. Col. Bartolome Bacarro, hindi napigilan ang maglabas ng pagkadismaya sa kaniyang Facebook. Ayon kay Bacarro, bihira lang siyang pumatol o magkomento sa mga post sa social media, pero itinuturing niyang kalabisan ang ginawa ni Paner.
Kung hindi aniya kayang respetuhin ni Paner ang mga sundalo na nagsasakripsyo ng husto para sa bayan, sana man lang ay inirespeto nito ang kaniyang sarili at hindi nagsuot ng military uniform dahil hindi naman siya sundalo.
“If you don’t respect the people that wear the uniform, people that have given so much, people that have sacrificed a lot , people that despite the unfathomable pains and losses they have incurred continue to remain silent as they await the next command that would once again unselfishly put themselves between you and harms way…the least that you can do is respect yourself by not wearing OUR uniform because you don’t deserve to wear one,” ayon kay Bacarro.
Sinabi rin ni Bacarro na ang ginawa ni Paner ay maituturing na ‘disgrace’ sa kanilang uniporme na itinuturing nilang ‘badge of honor’.
Mula naman sa Philippine Military Analysis and Updates:
"May I remind everybody especially the civilians that wearing AFP uniforms in public is ILLEGAL. Juana Change is not even a Reservist, and she's desecrating the AFP's BDU(Battle Dress Uniform) in a public demonstration. AFP should file a case against her ASAP."
Ang ilang netizens nag-post din sa Facebook at sinabi na ang ginawa ni Paner ay paglabag sa Article 179 ng Revised Penal Code.
Isa pang netizen ang sinabi na dahil hindi naman reservist o aktibong sundalo, hindi dapat nagsuot ng military uniform si Paner.
Nakadagdag pa sa kanilang pagkadismaya na ginamit ni Paner ang uniporme sa kasagsagan ng kilos protesta noong SONA.
Wala namang reaksyon sa mga batikos si Paner at nananatili pa rin sa kaniyang Facebook page ang mga larawan niya na nakasuot ng uniporme ng sundalo.
