On the evening of June 28, 2017, 19-year-old underdog Maureen Wroblewitz was declared the winner of Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 - beating out Vietnam’s Minh Tu Nguyen and Malaysia’s Shikin Gomez in the Top 3.
The half-Filipina half-German model won the coveted contract from London-based Storm Model Management as well as the opportunity to grace the cover of Nylon Singapore magazine.
Maureen happens to be the first ever Filipina to win the popular model search reality show competition.

Recently, the AsNTM winner made an appearance on ABS-CBN’s late night talk show “Tonight with Boy Abunda.” The “King of Talk” Boy Abunda invited the recently crowned top model and subjected her to his “Fast Talk” segment. The segment involves a series of rapid-fire questions asked by Tito Boy in the span of two minutes.
As is typical of the “Fast Talk” segment, Boy asked Maureen a bunch of titillating questions in rapid succession. One of the more intriguing questions the host posed was who Maureen thought was prettier: herself or popular Pinay actress Liza Soberano.
