When a husband and his wife gets a divorce and the court grants that, the court usually orders the couple to split of all their properties in half. But it does not mean that you will literally cut and break all that you have into two pieces.
In Germany, one husband took the court’s orders too literally by splitting his and his wife's conjugal properties. It is after the judge told them to divide their properties in half upon granting their divorce. They got divorce as Laura, his now estranged wife, cheated on him with another man.
Their teddy bear, chairs, bed, TV, laptop, phone, and even their car were divided into two pieces.
