The House of Representatives (HoR) has released the summary of the sworn statements of assets, liabilities and net worth of congressmen of the 17th Congress, nearly 4 months after the deadline for the filing of the declarations lapsed.
Based on the list posted, 1PACMAN Partylist Rep ichael Odylon Romero is the rihest congressman with a net worth of 7,009,588,018.00 as of December 31, 2016.
And according to the report the richest Congressman has been absent since January 2017. There was also an allegation that he stole Php 3.4 million from his family-owned Harbour Centre Post Terminal Inc.
