Last Monday, Senator Trillanes IV challenged the former Manila councilor Greco Belgica to file complaint against him.
He made the dare after Belgica accused him for using millions of pesos of assignation under the Outlay Acceleration Program to fund a non-existent lamp project in a still undisclosed municipality.
“Alam niyo, isa pa yang si Belgica, may diperensya sa pag-i-isip. I don’t know why you keep on entertaining that. Nakakasama ko noong 2013 sa campaign, medyo may amats yan,” Trillanes said to the reporters.
“Pero, sige. Sa ‘kin, don’t take my word for this. Sa ‘kin, sige lang. Kung meron siya, eh di i-file niya sa Ombudsman,” he added.

However, Belgica did not disclose the identity nor the details of the said lamppost project.
Belgica added that Trillanes had different projects. "Merong totoo merong ding hindi ghost".
And according to Belgica they already sumitted grounds to Department of Justice regarding the alleged specter projects of Trillanes.
"We submitted our documents, evidences and investigation reports on all DAP funds involving P144 billion. Isa lang 'yung kay Trillianes dun,"
"We submitted our report to the DOJ so they can validate our information themselves and investigate through the National Bureau of Investigation para fair," He added.

Belgica is known to questioned the constitutional pork barrel sytem. However, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Belgica and said that the pork barrel scheme is unconstitutional.
He also run for a Senate tail end as region of the party list of Duterte.
